Norrsken’s energy efficient and modern panel doors are manufactured with an integral insulated door leaf. A rigid XPS plate is used as insulation and triple glazing as in-fill. A thin aluminium layer gives protection against moisture. Thermal transmittance Uw = 1.0 W/m²K.

A panel door can be either outward or inward opening. And available as entrance, patio or balcony doors. Door frames are made of solid timber. It is possible to manufacture single or double leaf doors. Finishing according to RAL, NCS (paint) or Norrsken’s (lacquer) tone catalogue by customer's preference.

Closing system by the Swedish lock manufacturer ASSA: hinges and three-point locking espagnolette. Patio and balcony doors have simpler locking systems.

Technical Properties of Norrsken Panel Entrance Door:

  • Thermal transmittance: Uw = 1,0 W/m²K;
  • Sound insulation: Rw (C; Ctr) = 34db (-1; -5);
  • Cross sections: frame 55 x 92 mm; thickness of door leaf is 68 mm;
  • Door leaf is a composition of laminated veneer and an aluminium layer for moisture protection; as insulation extruded XPS plate is used.
  • Insulated triple glazing (40 mm; Ug = 0,6 W/m²K);
  • Hardware: ASSA hinges, Fix espagnolettes, Fix or ASSA handles, RUKO or ASSA locks.

  1. Norrsken quotes are valid for 2 months from the date shown on the quotation.

  2. Payment terms are 50% deposit on placing the order and the remaining 50% upon your completed order being ready to ship from the factory. Once the sales contract is signed you agree to pay the full amount as stated in the contract based upon these payment terms.

  3. Once the deposit is paid your window manufacturing will commence. As each window is a bespoke product for your requirements changes cannot be made once manufacturing has started.

  4. Orders are based upon the measurements supplied to the factory either by you or by Norrsken. Where you have supplied the measurements, either from a window schedule or scaled drawings please check that these are accurate. Once manufacturing has started changes cannot be made. Norrsken will endeavor to check any measurements supplied to us but in the event that an error is made Norrsken cannot be held responsible.

  5. When the delivery arrives at the address supplied, removal of the goods from the delivery vehicle is the responsibility of the customer.

  6. Once the windows are delivered the warranty period commences and any issues arising will be covered by the warranty where applicable.

  7. When the delivery of your windows is made Norrsken will check with yourself or someone appointed by you that everything is in order with the delivery and that no damage has occurred in transit. Any problems must be pointed out at this stage. Claims can only be processed whilst we are on site and Norrsken cannot be held responsible for any damage occurring after the delivery has been signed off.

  8. A fitting manual will be supplied with your order. Any installation work carried out by you or by somebody appointed by you must be carried out in accordance with these fitting instructions. Failure to do so may invalidate your warranty.
