Tilt & Slide Door

Tilt and slide door is best for locations as balconies, terraces and other places where there is not enough room for traditional outward or inward opening solutions. Tilt and slide doors are also perfect where there is a need for large glazed areas.

The product is based on the same profile system as Norrsken’s inward opening timber window (therefore it does not have a conventional threshold; see illustrations below). In addition to the traditional sideways slide opening, it tilts at the top for ventilation. GU hinge systems enable us to manufacture an opening sash of up to 130 kg. Profiles and technical properties are similar to Norrsken DK10 windows.

Tilt and slide door is available both in timber and aluminium clad. Traditional double glazing (Ug = 1,1 W/m²K) or energy efficient triple glazing (Ug = 0,6 W/m2K) can be used.

Finishing according to RAL, NCS (paint) or Norrsken (lacquer) tone catalogue by customer's preference.
