Role Overview

We’re searching for enthusiastic, articulate and motivated sales team members to develop existing and new business from the leads generated through our marketing activities.

We generate significant numbers of high-quality leads from major tradeshows throughout the year as well as from our website and through customer and architect recommendations. Most potential customers have seen and appreciated the value of our products at trade shows. They are actively looking to purchase for current projects. 

We’re looking for people who are passionate about delivering the exceptional service that identifies us as an exemplary business in the industry. Candidates should be aspiring Senior level sales candidates who can close sales efficiently and make the most of the warm leads supplied.

You’ll meet and develop rapports with your client leads, either via online or in person (showroom or tradeshow) meetings. You’ll carefully navigate your clients through our product range, researching and answering their questions with a diligent and methodical approach. You view each project as unique and commit to providing every customer with your complete attention and care. You’ll carefully record project and product specifications, communicating these thoroughly with our order processing teams once the client has confirmed Norrsken as their choice. Your logical methods will allow you to assist your colleagues, if necessary, by answering questions at later stages of the project. 

You will mainly be office based but will attend tradeshows several times a year, and some customer visits are required.  All leads are provided and no cold calling is involved.

To be considered for our Sales Executive role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Good sales ability, with demonstrated examples of the tenacity and drive to succeed and ensure that each opportunity is diligently and thoroughly followed up.
  • You are willing to go the extra mile to achieve success.
  • You are an effective communicator by phone, in person and in writing and you voiew
  • You are ambitious and goal-oriented
  • Have a good grasp of technical products and subjects, or you are quick to grasp new concepts and are driven to learn. 
  • We’d particularly love to see knowledge of similar composite windows, eco-products, or any technical knowledge of the construction industry, but this is not a pre-requisite - thorough product training will be given to the right candidate.
  • You are within reasonable commutable distance of our office in Poole.
  • Although you’ll be committed to delivering your personal best, you also value cooperation and work efficiently within a team. 

Why join the Norrsken team?

  • Our sales team work on a substantially bonus basis. We always reward drive and ambition. Depending on your level of experience, your starting salary will be £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. 
  • You’ll receive an uncapped, performance-based bonus which should be at least £15,000. 
  • There is a genuinely achievable opportunity to earn £70,000 - £80,000 in this role.
